kalopsya
Kalopsya is everything that you loved about early 2000’s metal core. Melody, harmonized guitars, soaring solos, pit inspiring breakdowns and a signature vocalist. We know you have an itch you’ve been trying to scratch since 2006 and we’re here to help.

Alongside filling out the top end of Kalopsya’s rhythm section on guitar, Petey brings tremendous energy to the band’s live performances. Between the spin maneuvers, enthusiastic belting of lyrics off mic and his personal interactions with the crowd and his band-mates, the fun he’s having is infectious.
Fun Fact:
- Strongly believes that "Old Greg" is the single greatest skit ever made.

- Has never been pooped on by an animal
- Was chased by a man wearing a bed sheet as a cloak that opened to surprising lack of undergarments mid chase.
- First concert attended was Skid Row, Vince Neil and Poison

Sawyer's creative genius is woven throughout Kalopsya's music. When you hear a great guitar melody, it's sawyer. Harmonies got you stank-facin? Sawyer. Sick solo got you thinking it might be time to sell your own guitars? Also Sawyer. Bonus points: he's the nicest guy you'll ever meet.
Fun Fact:
- He took 5 years of choir during junior high and high school.

Bass guitar is the sonic bridge between the heartbeat and soul of Kalopsya's instrumental sound. It is the companion piece that both marries the beat to the melody while also providing a platform upon which great harmonies may tower. A great weight lay on Will's shoulders and he carries it as if a feather.

- Grew up mostly listening to rap and hip-hop

It's one thing to find a vocalist, it's another entirely to find a frontman. Sam manages to thread both needles at once with poignant, relatable lyrics embedded in memorable cadences and melodies. But the magic really happens when he stitches those elements together with his commanding stage presence and audience engagement to deliver a performance you won't want to look away from.
Fun Fact:
- Learned how to scream properly while delivering pizzas.

- Has an unhealthy obsession with the rapper Project Pat
- Played drums in a worship group but was kicked out for refusing to wear a suit and tie
- Once broke his wrist trying to start a mosh pit at a Natasha Bedingfield concert.

Without a proper foundation Kalopsya's guitar work crumbles beneath it's own weight. Bennett emphatically provides that with an engineers precision. Speaking of engineering, Bennett also brought the Servant of the Void EP to digital life as the album's mix engineer. Whether in the studio or on the stage, Bennett has become an integral part of the Kalopsya sound.

- Bennett's gateway into metal was Metallica's "Enter Sandman"
